Meet Paul McCourt
Paul's entrepreneurial journey began early — at just 14, he pursued a career in the hospitality industry, working through the ranks to become a consultant for the Radisson Group, where he discovered a passion for operations at the highest level.
By 16, he had registered his first events company. By his early twenties he had co-founded Last Laugh Entertainment — delivering landmark large-scale events for Xerox, Intel, Kingspan, and the ESB, including Seven Up on Ice at the RDS, one of the largest events in Irish history, and the Irish Ploughing Championships.
At 28, Paul founded Celtic Wind Crops, becoming one of the pioneers of Ireland's industrial hemp sector. Celtic Wind Crops grew into one of Ireland's leading CBD brands, distributed nationally through Wholefoods Wholesale to Holland & Barrett, pharmacies, and health stores.
Now at 44, with 30 years of entrepreneurial experience and 6 years of hands-on AI implementation, Paul is launching Kinetic Rising AI — helping Irish and UK SMEs move from AI curiosity to AI capability through consulting, training courses, and ongoing implementation support.
